Customers praised this locomotive model for its exceptional detail, smooth running performance, and superior pulling power. Many noted it "runs quiet and very smooth even on curves" and handles tight R2 curves and points excellently. The model is well-weighted and features accurate front-end detail. Some mentioned minor issues like a broken buffer upon arrival.
Cracking model...runs perfectly...great livery. Thank you Heljan for such a good model at a very good price.
This is a good, sound model for the reduced price it became available at this year. Arguably my friend's Bachmann version runs slightly better but there is not a lot in it. Both run well.
great price, quality model with lots of detail
Superb detailed and accurate loco from knowing the real version myself over many years on my travels back in there br blue days.
Super smooth and great over point work and tight R2 curves of which I many on layout.Quality Loco at a great offered price.
You don't get much quality locos new for around £100 these days
Lovely well detailed model, runs very well, now fitted with dcc sound decoder

A fantastic Model with much more pulling power than my Bachmann peaks.
It was faulty. I had to return.
Jolly good model with great Front End detail
Overall an excellent model works perfectly. The one minor fault was a buffer had been broken off. Luckily I was able to repair it
Very smooth runner. Coped with my 2nd radius curves and dodgy points way better than expected with all those wheels!
A great model to go with the other 3 I have
TO BE HONEST I HAVE SIMPLY NOT HAD TIME TO UNPACK THE MODEL SINCE DELIVEERY BUT WHAT I HAVE SEEN IT LOOKS FANTASTIC.
